Social, Volunteer Opportunities Abound in Coming Months

In the next three months, the Human Rights Campaign will be hosting many meetings and fun events in the Washington, D.C. area.

Below is just a partial list.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Human Rights Campaign there are plenty of ways to get involved. Please come to one of our meetings to learn more or register to volunteer online.

HRC Events in the DC Area:

April 26: HRC booth at the Rainbow Families D.C. Conference in Takoma Park.

May 3: HRC booth at Youth Pride at Beach Park in Washington D.C.

May 31: HRC at the Washington Mystics game at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. at 1 p.m. and join a party following the game at 3:30 p.m. Go here for tickets

June 7: HRC sponsors the True Colors Tour at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. Performer Cyndi Lauper will be headlining the 2nd annual event. Check out the website for details.

June 8-15: HRC sponsors Capitol Pride

June 13: HRC hosts the Latino GLBT History Project Latino Pride at 6 p.m. at the HRC building, 1640 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. E-mail Jose Guitierrez for more information.
